Weaving and Dance

Program by International weaver Susan Klebanoff and Shira Greenberg, founder of the dance group “Keshet.” Meet two outstanding women artists who have carved a path that is uniquely their own. Klebanoff is a  weaver who creates 3-dimensional tapestries that shimmer with life and grace public and private spaces throughout the world. Greenberg is the founder and executive director of Keshet Dance Company and is a dancer who dared to dream that EVERYONE can dance and set out to prove it against all odds.

Join us to celebrate the late artist Agnes Martin and honor the multi-talented women artists of the Galisteo Basin at Martin's former home and studio in Galisteo. This informal event will offer the opportunity to visit the studio and meet local artists, many of whom knew Agnes Martin and remember her fondly.

Centered around a collaboration with Millicent Rogers Museum for its event “Year of the Dress Exhibition and Sale," this weekend also includes a private guided tour of Agnes Martin Exhibit at the Harwood Museum, a guided tour of the Mabel Dodge Luhan House, fashion shopping at Substance, gourmet cooking at the Cooking Studio, and more!
